A. TERMS OF USE OF RELIEFTIME
A.1. ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF USE
ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE is the operator of the website www.relieftime.com and the online services provided through it (hereinafter referred to as “RELIEFTIME”) as well as any information or content (indicatively including photographs, texts, graphics) contained therein (hereinafter referred to as the “Content”) for the purpose of enabling RELIEFTIME visitors/Users to create an account and schedule medical appointments through the Website (online), by selecting a physician of their choice from among the network of healthcare professionals who maintain a profile on our Website and/or a personal website as part of the services provided by RELIEFTIME to them, as well as to obtain information on medical topics of interest, or to connect with the doctor directly via online communication (chat).
The use of RELIEFTIME is governed by these Terms of Use, as in force from time to time, which constitute the entire agreement between RELIEFTIME and any person using the above-mentioned online services (hereinafter referred to as the “visitor/User” or “visitors/Users”). Any access to and use of the Services in any manner whatsoever constitutes the visitor/User’s unconditional acceptance of the Terms of Use of the Website, as applicable at any given time.
Healthcare professionals who wish to create an online profile on the RELIEFTIME Website and/or a personal website, in accordance with the above, are required to complete the relevant online registration form by submitting the required information (“PHYSICIANS REGISTRATION”) and submit it to RELIEFTIME, thereby accepting the Terms of Use and the Website’s Data Protection Policy. The accuracy of the submitted information is verified by RELIEFTIME through communication with the interested party, following which the healthcare professional is included in the network of featured collaborators of RELIEFTIME and maintains a profile on RELIEFTIME. Said profile displays, in list format, the professional’s curriculum vitae, specialization and medical services provided, and the final cost of such services to visitors/Users. It is expressly noted that the RELIEFTIME Website displays profiles exclusively of healthcare professionals who hold a valid license to practice medicine.
A.2. ONLINE SERVICES OF RELIEFTIME
RELIEFTIME is a Website through which healthcare professionals may display their professional profile, the medical services they offer, and their availability for medical appointments. Correspondingly, visitors/Users may view professional profiles (curricula vitae, medical services offered, availability) and the cost of each medical service provided by the healthcare professional of their choice and may schedule the desired medical appointment.
RELIEFTIME visitors/Users also have the ability, through their account, to cancel appointments in accordance with RELIEFTIME’s Appointment Cancellation Policy, to view the totality of RELIEFTIME services they have used, to submit reviews of the healthcare professional after completion of the appointment, to receive newsletters (if they wish), and to submit inquiries through a messaging service with specialized medical personnel.
Visitors/Users who wish to create an account on RELIEFTIME in order to schedule medical appointments are required to complete and submit their information via the relevant online registration form (“PATIENT REGISTRATION”), accepting the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy and indicating whether they wish to receive updates from RELIEFTIME. Visitors/Users who schedule appointments through the RELIEFTIME Website receive a unique verification code via electronic mail (email) for identity confirmation purposes (two-factor identification). Visitors/Users may cancel appointments in accordance with the procedure described in RELIEFTIME’s Appointment Cancellation Policy.
Through the Website, visitors/Users are also able to contact RELIEFTIME regarding any matter by completing the relevant contact form or by communicating via live chat with the customer support department, subject to acceptance of the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy of the Website.
Through RELIEFTIME, any visitor/User may submit a request for an appointment. During the appointment request process, the visitor/User is required to submit their personal details, which are transmitted to the healthcare professional selected by the visitor/User for the purposes of communication between them and completion of the process. Appointments are accepted automatically, and in the event that, for any reason, the healthcare professional cancels their availability, the full amount paid shall be refunded to the visitor/User. The acceptance or rejection of an appointment rests solely with the healthcare professional selected by the visitor/User.
RELIEFTIME neither determines nor bears responsibility for the medical practices or methods followed by healthcare professionals, nor may it compel a healthcare professional to accept or examine a visitor/User. It is understood that the healthcare professional retains full impartiality and discretion in the provision of medical services, acting in full accordance with the principles of good faith and medical ethics. RELIEFTIME bears no responsibility for the commission of any criminal or disciplinary offenses or for any unethical conduct on the part of healthcare professionals, nor for their compliance or non-compliance with any obligations arising from any contractual relationship they may have with the National Organization for Healthcare Services Provision (EOPYY). It remains at the sole discretion of the healthcare professional to request, if deemed necessary, that the visitor/User attend an in-person examination at the healthcare professional’s medical office.
Additionally, visitors/Users may submit general inquiries through the Questions & Answers section, available on a dedicated page titled “FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.” Such inquiries are reviewed by the RELIEFTIME team and, where they concern medical matters, are forwarded to appropriate healthcare professionals for response. Once answered, the visitor/User is notified via email. Responses provided by healthcare professionals are strictly informative and of advisory nature and may not, under any circumstances, substitute for clinical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Inquiries containing offensive or abusive content are not forwarded to healthcare professionals. Inquiries that explicitly refer to specific healthcare professionals by name cannot be managed by RELIEFTIME and are not forwarded for response. Furthermore, any inquiries containing personal data that could identify the visitor/User shall be edited to remove such data prior to being forwarded to a healthcare professional.
The question submission platform is addressed exclusively to adults. It is presumed that if communication is made by a minor, the minor has obtained the consent of their parent or custodian, who bears sole responsibility. RELIEFTIME is unable to verify the age of each visitor/User and assumes no related liability. In the event that a minor over the age of fifteen (15) uses RELIEFTIME’s services by providing false identification information, RELIEFTIME cannot consider the minor’s consent for the disclosure of such information to third parties as valid and may take the necessary measures to protect the personal data and terminate the account.
The RELIEFTIME team responds solely to inquiries concerning the service itself and its use and not to inquiries of a medical nature. From the time a visitor/User submits an inquiry, several days may be required for RELIEFTIME to process it, forward it to healthcare professionals, and receive a response. RELIEFTIME bears no responsibility for the promptness of responses, as it lies within the sole discretion of healthcare professionals whether and when to respond. RELIEFTIME reserves the right not to process inquiries that do not comply with the above terms, and the visitor/User shall be notified via email in the event of rejection.
It is emphasized that responses provided by specialists aim solely at the provision of general information to the visitor/User. Communication through the inquiry submission platform does not replace advice from a specialized and licensed healthcare professional or direct personal consultation with full disclosure of medical history. Individuals experiencing serious crises (including, indicatively, epileptic and/or schizophrenic episodes) or exhibiting suicidal tendencies must contact their personal physician or the nearest hospital immediately.
A.3. VIDEO CALL SERVICE
3.1 Healthcare professionals maintaining an active profile on RELIEFTIME may, at their discretion, offer visitors/Users the option of a video call. A video call with a healthcare professional does not replace an in-person visit to their medical office. Where the healthcare professional deems that an in-person examination of the visitor/User is required, the healthcare professional shall refer the visitor/User to a physical appointment. The option to select a video call may also be initiated by the visitor/User.
3.2 In order for a video call to take place, both the healthcare professional and the visitor/User must have the necessary technical equipment (computer, tablet, or smartphone, microphone, webcam) and be located in a private space that ensures the privacy and medical confidentiality of the remote medical consultation. RELIEFTIME provides technical support for the video call service to the extent feasible through software. However, RELIEFTIME is not responsible for any problems or technical issues related to or arising from the equipment of either the healthcare professional or the visitor/User (including, without limitation, interruptions or delays during the video call due to poor internet connection, insufficient or incompatible equipment, ambient noise, etc.).
3.3 The Appointment Cancellation Policy, as set out in Section 2 above, shall also apply to video calls with healthcare professionals.
3.4 In the event that a video call, the visitor/User is required to enter their payment details during the appointment request process and expressly accept the charge determined by the healthcare professional for the specific service. Payment is effected at the time of booking the appointment. Where the visitor/User has saved their card details during the above process and wishes to have them deleted following completion of the transaction, they may contact support@relieftime.com .
3.5 If a video call cannot be carried out due to a technical issue attributable to the Website, the visitor/User must contact the healthcare professional and the RELIEFTIME customer support department at support@relieftime.com in order for the technical issue to be addressed. If the issue is not resolved, the visitor/User shall not be charged.
3.6 If the appointment is cancelled by the visitor/User up to three (3) hours prior to the scheduled time, no charge shall apply. If the appointment is cancelled less than three (3) hours before its scheduled start time, or if the visitor/User fails to attend the appointment, the visitor/User shall be charged fifty percent (50%) of the cost of the selected service.
3.7 RELIEFTIME does not manage and is not involved at any stage in the financial transaction between the healthcare professional and the visitor/User. Any dispute or disagreement relating to the financial transaction concerns exclusively the healthcare professional and the visitor/User and must be resolved without the involvement or mediation of RELIEFTIME.
3.8 The healthcare professional is required to ensure that the video call is conducted in an appropriate environment so as not to jeopardize confidentiality and privacy. Recording of the video call is strictly prohibited. In the event that these principles are violated, the healthcare professional shall bear sole criminal, civil, and disciplinary liability, and under no circumstances shall RELIEFTIME bear any responsibility. RELIEFTIME shall inform both the healthcare professional and the visitor/User of any charges arising from the use of the “video call with a healthcare professional” service.
A.4. ONLINE COMMUNICATION (CHAT) WITH A PHYSICIAN
RELIEFTIME further provides the RELIEFTIME chat service, through which visitors/Users may communicate with available physicians in order to receive reliable and prompt responses to basic medical questions, without the need to schedule an appointment. Under no circumstances does this service replace an in-person visit to healthcare professional’s medical office. Medical certificates may be issued through the chat service where the physician deems this necessary.
The physician responding via the online chat service bears sole responsibility for the content and accuracy of the responses provided to those submitting inquiries. The visitor/User is required to enter their payment details and expressly accepts the charge determined for use of the service. Card details are stored, and where the visitor/User wishes to have them deleted following completion of the transaction, they may contact support@relieftime.gr .
4.1 Fair Use Policy for Online Communication (Chat)
Use of the service must not exceed the limits imposed by good faith and accepted standards of conduct. RELIEFTIME reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate the relationship with any visitor/User who, in any manner, abuses the service or its limits, resulting in repeated and unjustified disturbance to cooperating healthcare professionals.

B.1. Acceptance of the Terms of Use
ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE, operating www.RELIEFTIME.gr, provides a platform that enables visitors/Users to schedule appointments with the healthcare professional of their choice and to use related telemedicine services. C. SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF RELIEFTIME
C.1. Visitors/Users of RELIEFTIME’s online services are required to provide accurate and truthful information. Any information submitted by a visitor/User for the purpose of processing their request shall be deemed strictly confidential and shall be disclosed only to the directly interested party and to the competent authority or authorities, as required by law, in the event that the visitor’s/User’s use of RELIEFTIME violates these Terms of Use and/or applicable Greek legislation.
In particular, such disclosure may be deemed necessary where the use of the RELIEFTIME Website by a visitor/User infringes its operating rules. In such cases, all information relating to the relevant visitor/User, including their IP address, may form part of any investigation, where required for the protection of RELIEFTIME’s rights or where requested by any competent authority in the context of an investigation.
Any data submitted to the RELIEFTIME Website must comply with Greek law and accepted standards of internet use and must not be altered or falsified by the visitor/User or knowingly by third parties. Such data may be used by RELIEFTIME for the purposes of Website optimization, without any claim whatsoever by the visitor/User providing such data. Each visitor/User is solely responsible for their use of RELIEFTIME and may use its services exclusively for lawful and legitimate purposes.
Visitors/Users are prohibited from using RELIEFTIME in any manner that could damage, disable, overload, or impair RELIEFTIME’s servers or networks, or interfere with any other member’s or visitor’s/User’s use and enjoyment of RELIEFTIME’s services. Abuse of RELIEFTIME services is strictly prohibited, including the scheduling of medical appointments which the visitor/User does not willing to attend. Visitors/Users are also prohibited from creating false accounts for any purpose or from collecting or storing personal data of other visitors/Users by any means, which constitutes unlawful processing of personal data without RELIEFTIME’s knowledge.
In the event of a breach of the above prohibitions, RELIEFTIME reserves the right to seek full compensation for any damage suffered (actual or consequential) and to pursue any appropriate legal action, procedure, and lawful extrajudicial or judicial remedial measures to prevent violations of these Terms of Use and to protect its reputation and credibility. Any dispute or disagreement regarding a financial transaction concerns exclusively the healthcare professional and the visitor/User and shall be resolved without the involvement of RELIEFTIME.
C.2. Any information and presentations provided as general information on the RELIEFTIME portal reflect the personal views of the respective authors, are of a purely informational and advisory nature, and do not in any way substitute medical diagnosis, treatment, clinical examination, or consultation by qualified healthcare professionals.
Visitors/Users must not rely on the information provided on RELIEFTIME as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Visitors/Users should not disregard, avoid, or delay seeking medical advice from a qualified physician due to any information obtained through RELIEFTIME. RELIEFTIME must not be used for medical emergencies. In the event of a medical emergency, visitors/Users must contact emergency services (166) and/or their personal physician immediately.
No statement or content published on RELIEFTIME constitutes or may be construed as the practice of medicine or the provision of medical care. Any reliance by a visitor/User on information provided through RELIEFTIME is undertaken solely at their own risk. RELIEFTIME does not monitor or guarantee the availability of any physician at any given time and bears no liability whatsoever for cancellations, missed appointments, or any damage incurred by a visitor/User as a result thereof.
C.3. Visitors/Users are solely responsible for access to their personal accounts on RELIEFTIME and for safeguarding their login credentials against unauthorized access. They bear exclusive responsibility for the control, use, management, and access to activation codes and passwords.
C.4. Visitors/Users may submit electronic comments regarding their experience with healthcare professionals listed on the RELIEFTIME Website, in accordance with RELIEFTIME’s Review Policy. Such comments must be submitted responsibly and must be clear and truthful. Visitors/Users bear sole responsibility for any inappropriate language, unfounded personal criticism, and/or unlawful or offensive content they publish.
RELIEFTIME reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove visitors/Users’ comments for any reason whatsoever, without bearing any liability for any omission or delay in such removal. Visitors/Users acknowledge that such comments constitute personal opinions only and must not be relied upon. Reviews are provided solely for informational purposes for RELIEFTIME visitors/Users.
RELIEFTIME is not a body for receiving or processing complaints concerning criminal or disciplinary offenses or unethical conduct by subscribing physicians/healthcare professionals. Accordingly, reviews containing such allegations shall not be taken into account. Any such complaints must be submitted by the visitor/User, at their own responsibility, to the competent authorities and/or professional bodies, in accordance with applicable law.
C.5. The content of the RELIEFTIME Website, including but not limited to texts, images, and information presented by its authors, as well as any other material contained therein, is provided solely for the purpose of informing visitors/Users. Such information is not exhaustive and may not reflect the most recent research across all areas of medical science.
C.6. RELIEFTIME reserves the right, indicatively and not exhaustively, to: (a) record and store any communication between a visitor/User and the Website, including email communications and questions and answers exchanged with affiliated physicians/healthcare professionals or other parties; (b) investigate any complaint regarding communications that do not comply with these Terms of Use and, at its sole discretion, remove or require the removal of such communications; (c) remove communications, data, and information submitted by a visitor/User that are deemed offensive, unlawful, disruptive, or non-compliant with these Terms of Use; (d) delete registered Users who fail to comply with these Terms of Use, following prior notice.
C.7. No information obtained by a visitor/User from RELIEFTIME or its services creates any warranty or obligation on the part of RELIEFTIME unless expressly stated in these Terms of Use.
C.8. RELIEFTIME may prioritize or refer rthird-party websites in accordance with search terms entered by visitors/Users. RELIEFTIME does not endorse, co-sign, or assume responsibility for the content, availability, data protection practices, quality, or completeness of services provided by third-party websites accessed via links, hyperlinks, frames, or advertising banners.
Any issues arising from the use of such third-party websites must be addressed directly with the respective website owners, who bear sole responsibility. RELIEFTIME does not adopt, guarantee, or associate itself with third-party content or services and bears no liability for any communication or transaction between visitors/Users and third-party service providers.
Use of third-party websites is undertaken entirely at the visitor’s/User’s own risk and is subject to the applicable terms of use of such websites. RELIEFTIME bears no responsibility where third-party websites: (a) infringe third-party rights; (b) are unsafe, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading; or (c) contain viruses or other harmful software.
C.9. RELIEFTIME undertakes to make every reasonable effort to correct any errors brought to its attention by visitors/Users. However, all content and material available on the Website are used at the visitor’s/User’s sole risk and are provided without any warranty as to accuracy or correctness. RELIEFTIME bears no liability, direct or indirect, for any damage (actual or consequential) arising from the use of the Website or its content. RELIEFTIME may, at any time and without prior notice, make changes or improvements to the Website as it deems necessary.
C.10. Except where expressly stated otherwise (e.g., third-party intellectual property), all content of RELIEFTIME, including images, graphics, photographs, designs, texts, the digital environment of the services provided, and all files on the Website, constitutes the exclusive intellectual property of ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE. and its registered trademarks and service marks, protected under Greek law, EU law, and international conventions.
No part of such content may be stored, sold, copied, modified, reproduced, republished, processed, destroyed, uploaded, transmitted, or distributed in whole or in part to third parties in any manner whatsoever.
Products or services displayed on RELIEFTIME bearing the trademarks of physicians, organizations, companies, partners, associations, or publishers remain the intellectual and industrial property of their respective owners, who bear sole responsibility. Visitors/Users acknowledge that no right is granted to store, reproduce, copy, sell, resell, process, destroy, or commercially exploit, in whole or in part, any content of the RELIEFTIME Website.
C.11. Visitors/Users expressly consent to the processing of their personal data and medical history, as provided by them through inquiries and under Sections 2, 3, and 4 above, by ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE., which may disclose such data to third parties (physicians) exclusively for the proper and optimal operation of the Website and the provision of RELIEFTIME services and responses.
ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE. shall maintain records of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) as in force (as well as Law 4624/2019 on protection of personal data as in force) and applicable Greek legislation, including compliance with Law 2225/1994 and Presidential Decree 47/2005 concerning the lifting of confidentiality where required by judicial authorities for national security or the investigation of serious criminal offenses, following the procedures prescribed by law.
C.12. In accordance with Articles 4 and 4a of Law 2251/1994 on distance contracts, healthcare professionals and visitors/Users have the right to withdraw from the transaction within fourteen (14) days from the date of subscription payment.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the healthcare professional must notify RELIEFTIME by an explicit statement stating the reason for withdrawal via email to support@relieftime.gr. In such case, ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE. shall refund the amount paid within thirty (30) days without undue delay, using the same means of payment as the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
C.13. These Terms of Use are governed by Greek law, regardless of the country from which RELIEFTIME is accessed. The courts of Athens shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with RELIEFTIME. If any provision of these Terms of Use is declared invalid by a court decision, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
C.14. Information hosted on RELIEFTIME and provided by physicians is accurate, objective, and intended solely to inform the public and facilitate appointment booking, in compliance with Article 18 of the Code of Medical Ethics. In particular, information displayed under the “COST OF VISIT – SERVICES” field is visible to visitors/Users. Any unauthorized interception or republication of such information without the written consent of the physicians or RELIEFTIME constitutes an unlawful act, for which the infringing party bears sole responsibility.
C.15. Use of the RELIEFTIME Website, its services, and its content is subject to these Terms of Use. If a visitor/User considers these Terms unacceptable for any reason, they are requested not to accept them in the relevant field and to refrain entirely from using RELIEFTIME.
D. AMENDMENT OF THE TERMS OF USE
RELIEFTIME reserves the right to unilaterally amend or update these Terms of Use and any other rule governing the use of the Website at any time, at its sole discretion, by announcing each amendment through a relevant notice on its Website. The Terms of Use shall indicate the date of their latest update. Continued use of RELIEFTIME by the visitor/User following such announcement constitutes acceptance of the amendments. Use of the Website is subject to the Terms of Use in force at the time of use. The visitor/User is required to periodically review the Terms of Use in order to remain informed of their content and bears sole responsibility for such review and update.
E. SPECIAL TERMS
In the event that the use of any service of the Website is governed by specific terms of use and/or a specific policy, such terms shall be considered an integral part of these Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict, the specific terms governing each service shall prevail.
F. USE OF THE WEBSITE BY MINORS
By accepting the Terms of Use, the visitor/User declares that he/she is an adult over eighteen (18) years of age or, if under eighteen (18), it is presumed that he/she has obtained the necessary consent from the person(s) exercising parental responsibility and shall provide their details upon request. Persons bearing or exercising parental responsibility over minors are obliged to protect them from access to content intended for adults and bear sole responsibility in the event of failure to do so. Use of RELIEFTIME’s online services is permitted exclusively to adults over eighteen (18) years of age.
RELIEFTIME shall take all technically feasible measures to determine whether its online services are being used by minors under eighteen (18) years of age. In any case, please contact us at support@relieftime.gr if you become aware of the use of the Website by persons under eighteen (18) years of age.
G. RELIEFTIME’S LIABILITY FOR CONTENT
4.1 The Website is provided “as is” and is subject to modifications by RELIEFTIME, without the possibility of modifications or other interventions by the visitor/User. RELIEFTIME endeavors by all reasonable means to ensure the safe use of the Website and to provide accurate, complete, valid, reliable, and up-to-date information. However, visitors/Users acknowledge and accept that, due to the nature and evolution of RELIEFTIME’s products and services, as well as the technical nature of the Internet, RELIEFTIME may not be able to exercise full control over all content and the security of its websites and services at all times.
4.2 Use of the Website is carried out exclusively at the visitor’s/User’s own risk. ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE, its employees, executives, representatives, or any third party involved in the creation, production, or publication of RELIEFTIME’s material shall bear no liability whatsoever, to the extent permitted by law, for any direct, indirect, moral, actual, consequential, or other damage arising from or related to the use of the Website or its material, including, indicatively, the unintentional downloading of computer viruses from the Website or from emails sent by it.
H. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY – LICENSE GRANT
H.1 Proprietary Rights
The Website, including its software, content, images, graphics, photographs, designs, texts, user interface, and all files contained therein, constitutes intellectual and/or industrial property of ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE and its registered trademarks and service marks, protected under Greek, EU, and international intellectual and industrial property law. The compilation and arrangement of the Website’s content are also the exclusive property of ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE. No ownership rights are granted to the visitor/User other than the expressly provided rights of use under these Terms of Use. ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE expressly reserves all intellectual, industrial, and proprietary rights in and to all elements of the Website and its own material.
H.2 License Grant – Use Restrictions
H.2.1 Provided that the visitor/User complies with these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE grants a free, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-assignable license to access, load, and display the Services and Material solely for the purposes defined herein. The Website and its Material are intended strictly for personal, non-commercial use. Visitors/Users may download, copy, or store individual portions of the Material solely for personal use, provided that all ownership notices remain intact. Any other use requires the prior written consent of ATHINAIKI TILEIATRIKI IKE. No rights, title, or legitimate interest shall arise from such access or use.
H.2.2 Except as expressly permitted, the Website and its Material may not be reproduced, copied, leased, sold, sublicensed, assigned, transferred, exported, transmitted, retransmitted, distributed, loaned, or commercially exploited in whole or in part.
